Today my crazy creature is the Hyacinth macaw.It is the largest species of macaw,and the largest species of flying parrot.They are native to central and Eastern south America.their main diet nuts from native palms such as acuri and bocaiuva palms.These birds are extremely endangered,because of loss of habitat and trapping for the pet trade.
They are sooooo beautiful! It's sad that they are endangered like so many other animals on our planet.
